New Fresh Handmade: Eye Patch

What does Nick Fury, Elle Driver, Mad Eye Moody and Snake Plissken have in common aside from being bad ass?  They all have eye patches.  I don’t want to claim that having an eye patch will make you bad-ass but it certainly couldn’t hurt.  Lucky for you Venus & Mars has just designed some new and fabulous eye patches in a variety of colours to set you on the path to bad-assery.  Eye patches: they’re not just for pirates anymore.

eye patchSay, for example, you are heading to a place where you know your ex will be with their new partner.  You may be tempted to get a new outfit and do your hair all fancy.  Instead, may I suggest just adding an eye patch to your ensemble. You’ll look super mysterious and tough and your ex will be wondering what happened to your eye the whole time. On a side note, have a good story ready if they come up and ask you.

But Devon, you may be thinking, I run into my ex a lot, won’t I look pedestrian if I’m always wearing a plain black eye patch?  Fear not, my internet friend we have considered that scenario and our eye patches are available in Red Velvet, Brown Paisley and Faux Fur.  There’s basically an eye patch for every occasion and every outfit.  If you really want to impress though may I suggest wearing your eye patch with a festival hood? A corsetlet and circle square skirt or ruffle poet shirt and vest also work well with an eye patch.

What colour eye patch will you get and where will you wear it?  Let us know in the comments below!
