The photographer was #RockerChickCheri and the location is the west alley between Cordova St. and Hastings just around the corner from VM’s flagship location. There’s lots of great graffiti there. Check it out sometime if you want.

Once upon a time there was a little rocker chick from Richmond.
Her name was Sanné Lambert. The little girl studied hard, won many proud battles and eventually landed in glamorous Gastown where she built the kingdom of Venus&Mars.
For 19 years the steampunk kingdom was a land of peace and prosperity. One dark day an evil troll named Landlordia decided that she no longer wanted the kingdom of Venus&Mars steampunk in the land of Cambie and poisoned all the crops giving the good people of Venus&Mars only thirty days to find a new home before they starved.
Sanné Lambert search high and low through all of Gastown until she found a space of abundance on the edge of glamorous Gastown to rebuild the kingdom of Venus&Mars.
After a year of hard work, Venus&Mars Hastings was more prosperous than it had been in years and everyone knew that it was only going to get better with time.
