If you’re a fan of the store or a regular customer, you may have noticed that we’ve been closed for all of January. You may have received an email or read a blog stating that we had to be closed for the first two weeks of January. If you’re astoot, you may also have noticed that it’s been longer than two weeks.
Why isn’t the store open?
We would really like to be open. We miss you guys. Here’s the thing, sometimes when you’re renovating new and exciting problems pop up out of nowhere. That’s exactly what happened to us. I won’t get too into it but the issues involved water leaking and that’s something that you most definitely can’t ignore. I mean what’s the point of renovations if we had to close again a few months later to fix more stuff. You can’t just trade falling in a pit for you having to swim to the till.
When will we be open again?
Here’s the good news. Since the new and exciting problems have been dealt with, it looks like we will be open again before the end of January. Thank goodness. You can shop for a killing outfit just in time for Taboo. And more importantly, we will be open and ready to help you find the perfect Valentine’s Day outfit or gift.
Where else can you find us?
Speaking of Taboo, we will be vending again this year. Click here to get all the details. We will also be vending at Fan Expo again in 2019 which is coming up in March. Click here to learn all about that. We will be at East Pride and Pride again this. We’re also hoping to come back to Commercial Drive Car Free Day. That’s all we have planned so far but we’re open to suggestions. If there’s somewhere you would like to see us, please let us know onFacebook, Instagram and Twitter .
Thanks so much for baring with us during the epic renovations of our floors. We’re looking forward to seeing all of your lovely faces again soon.
