The History

Venus & Mars (“VM”) was founded in 1993 by the internationally known designer and rock star, Sanné Lambert in the historic Gastown district of Vancouver, British Columbia. Sanné creates beautiful clothing for our eccentric and colorful clientele from all around the world. She started out making Goth and Victorian alternative formal wear but over the past decade VM has morphed to include pieces for steampunk, cosplay, festival costumes, and LARP gear. Now, VM provides awesome people with clothing for weddings, grad, Burning Man, conventions are everyday life.

Pop -Up Shop

In 2011, we decided to take the show on the road.  We have pop up shops at several events every year including Taboo Naughty but Nice Show, Make It Vancouver, Pride, Anime Revolution, and Fan Expo Vancouver.  You can check out our Events Page to see where we will be vending next.
